Caravanserai - Album

Music inspired by the caravan routes of the famous Silk Road. Not only the Venetian merchant and explorer Marco Polo (1245-1324) travelled the Silk Road between the Mediterranean Sea and China, it was above all a route through different countries and cultures, on which merchants transported exotic goods from Asia, India and the Middle East, couriers delivered messages and where artists and scholars exchanged ideas about their cultures, music, art and religions when they meet each other in one of the caravanserais along the way.
